ODYSSEY OF THE PIRATE WOMEN

Who could we be outside of the structures we were born into? 

Tonally inspired by classic road movies of the US American West, refreshed by a subject matter that’s never been filmed, and emboldened by a cast and crew of passionate and wild women; this film intends to express a radical vision of community and womanhood against the masculine myth of the US American landscape. In a fictional future sickened with capitalism and patriarchy, these five pirate women embark on a mutinous journey, resisting the system of the “US American dream.” Their tale is one of courage and unrestraint- a deconstruction of male dominance and an exploration of everything that lies outside of that.
